TEHRAN-A training course for tourist guides was held at the Public Administration Training Center of Semnan last week.

Over 40 guides of the Semnan Touring and Tourism Organization (STTO) took part in the three-day training course, which was sponsored by the STTO.

The STTO managing director, Mas'oud Faghani, said, "This province has many tourist attractions. About 33% of the tourist attractions are in Semnan's natural settings. Also, the historical monuments of this province have made this region very attractive." The training courses consist of three phases.

Participants who complete the course will be able to attend international courses.
